Not only did they fix the issues I brought it in for, they gave me back my vehicle driving smoother and getting better gas mileage. I walked in as a first time customer and they agreed to take me as a client even though one of their mechanics was on vacation that week and they were already very booked up. I was fully informed of what it would take to fix the issue, what else they'd recommend that I do right now, and what maintenance items will be coming up in the future but weren't necessary to do at this time. I couldn't be happier with the service that I received here. I'll definitely be returning to Clays. |

Clays service is a family run business. I love the fact that Jim the owner and his wife work the shop. Our family has been going to Clay's for years. Last time I dropped my car off, I saw my uncles truck there. Lol. He is fair and doesn't overcharge. He is knowledgeable and will do his research if he doesn't know the answer. Then he will relay that information onto you, the customer. He also backs his work. I had my brakes done, and after several days, they started making a noise. Called Jim, he had me bring it in that evening. Did have to leave the car for the night. He checked it thoroughly the next day. At first he took it out for a drive, and didn't notice the sound. Then he took everything apart for a visual. Then he took it around for another test drive. This time he heard the noise. He was not happy with the work done, so he ordered all new parts and redid the entire brake job. All at no cost to me. I highly recommend using this shop. It is hard to find an honest, good mechanic nowadays. Well Clay's service is both. |

Jim (owner and mechanic) takes pride in small family business. I had my brakes serviced, and after about 1 month they were squealing intermittently. Called and asked Jim if that was normal. He told me to bring the car in and he would take a look. After looking at the car, he said he wasn't happy, and he wanted to redo the brakes. Scheduled an appointment, and he redid the brakes at no charge to me, as he did the original work. It a small family business, the mechanics are all knowledgeable and have years of experience. They stand behind their work, and take pride in what they do. It is something that is not easily found in today's world of hurry up. I highly recommend using clays service, this is coming from someone who grew up in a family of mechanics. |
